[2010/10/1 - Finally decided to finish this!]
I'm putting this in the university life section because vacations are also part of it!
This won't be a deep, thoughtful post, at least intellectually. It's deep and thoughtful about the memories and friends I made so far.
I haven't written for a long time because I've been doing quite a lot, sorry for that. At least, I think this is the first vacations I'm spending only having fun without feeling guilty for it.
First of all, a part of my essence came back to me in early August. Even though I hadn't gotten all the favorable conditions to go back to Brazil in vacations, one of my closest friends was as kind enough to make all her way here to see me. It was a really quick week, but we had enough time to visit her family's friends, see wonderful fireworks (half of which came out from water), go to Nagoya Castle and Nagoya Port, the Aquarium, introduce her to Coco's Curry House (thumbs up), go to Nagoya-Boston Museum of Fine Arts and such. =]
But as soon as she left I started missing her again. Sigh. You know how it is.
Oh, she also gave me a painting that's on my wall already!
Besides that, my Brazilian friends helped me moving the stuff to my new apartment - I really have wondered many times how the heck would I be if they weren't here - and it finally looks like somebody lives here. I mean, at least I do have a decent kitchen and a separated bedroom.
During the month, the volleyball circle promoted countless activities including a three-day camp in Takayama, Gifu-ken. Beautiful scenery and volleyball from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M.!
Finally, went to Fuji-Q (awe-some-ness) with friends from my class. Overcame my fear of heights which made me a new person =D And became closer to people I believe to be worth taking into my consideration.
Happiness!
